The Ray Gun is the most classic weapon in all of Call of Duty Zombies, and it’s a highly sought-after prize that everyone prays to the Mystery Box to receive. However, Black Ops 6 has more than a few secrets, and players have an opportunity to grab a free Ray Gun in Liberty Falls without the stress of wasting their points and Essence at the Mystery Box to be ridiculed with a low-tier sniper and pistol.

For players who need more firepower, turning on the Pack-a-Punch machine in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Zombies Liberty Falls map is essential.

Considering how powerful the Ray Gun is as a Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6, it’s no surprise that many players would crave it in their arsenal. Luckily for them, there’s a fun little secret that just might see them rewarded with a Ray Gun in Liberty Falls, if the RNG-Gods would be so kind.

This method does not guarantee a Ray Gun, but it does have a likely chance of happening.

In order to have a chance of getting a free Ray Gun in Liberty Falls, players will need to run out of spawn and head towards the Motor Lodge Motel. Through the gate that will take them to the bowling alley, they can look to the right to see a vending machine against a wall. This is the only vending machine in Liberty Falls that this will work on, but if players approach the side of the vending machine and melee strike the right corner, then the vending machine will drop a random piece of loot. This can be anything from Essence, Perk-a-Colas, a random grenade or tactical piece of equipment, or hopefully – the Ray Gun.

Players can hit the vending machine once a roundin the hopes of acquiring great loot. However, there is a way to speed up the process for a more risky approach, because doing it this way will destroy the vending machine for the remainder of the game, but grants more loot. If players purchase Melee Macchiato from the Forecourt at the Church, and then melee strike the front of the vending machine, they will destroy the machine, but a bunch of loot will burst free. This is more likely to get players the Ray Gun, but it will also mean that they cannot use the vending machine for the remainder of the game.
